A superb addition to any sports collection

Describing the purpose of coaching, the philosophy needed, the psychology a coach must have with his players, encouraging team work, and so much more, Jon J. Hammermeister does well in giving readers a complete and comprehensive guide to the finer points of coaching. "Cornerstones of Coaching" is a superb addition to any sports collection.

This book is full of grammatical errors, and not very helpful. I was really disappointed this book was used in a college class. I never wanted to be a coach anyway, but wanted to be a PE teacher. I figured this book would give some insight, but it really is just a long drawn out opinion with some facts.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD. GET IT FROM BARNES AND NOBLES!!!!!

The formatting of this textbook was absolutely awful. Once you hit a figure in the reading, you cannot make heads nor tails of anything in the chapter until the start of the next chapter. I highly recommend going to another site like Barnes and Nobles, and buying a hard copy from there. You can rent it from B&N for 8.72, or buy it for $40. It is much better to do that. Because of this issue with Amazon, I have had to purchase this book twice for my class, and I am very disappointed.
